Behaviour

Has anyone had the findings that when they child/tween with Autism had come into puberty their behaviours had become unmanageable. If so what did you find that helped out your child/tween?

I found that trying to calm the situation and the surroundings around him so that he can catch his breath. Then try to explain/ask in a calm voice what the problem was. Try to head it off at beginning before this situation arises again. These are predictors that happen before the behaviour arises. This is very important to have a handle on as it will help you and them throughout their lives. The people working with your child/tween should also be able to see these situations before they arise.
